Definition of
Forward
Forward is a term that, like adverb, can be used in different ways. The concept refers to what is found beyond. For example: “As we go further, the road is in worse condition: I don’t think we can go on”, “I think I know the woman who is eating at the table in front”, “In line at the bank, ahead of me was Manuel’s aunt”.
The notion can be used together with certain prepositions or other adverbs to refer to the future: “From now on, every time you want to enter my office, you will have to knock on the door first.”, “I want to travel to Uruguay to visit my brother but I don’t have money: the trip will have to be left for later”, “The boss said that from now on, the company will no longer pay productivity bonuses”.
As interjectionforward is used to indicate a person that go ahead with what you are doing or what enter to a certain space: “Go ahead, continue with your story”, “Forward! The door is open”, “I’m a little tired but go ahead, tell me what the conflict is and I’ll try to help you”.
“Forward”, on the other hand, is the name of several publications. He Communist Party of Argentinahe Communist Party of Paraguay and the Federation of Argentine Socialist Youth they had diaries with this name.
In the same way, we cannot ignore that the term in question has been widely used within the cultural and entertainment field. Thus, for example, one of the most successful television series of the last decades in Spain was “Un paso adelante”.
It was created by Daniel Écija and was broadcast between 2002 and 2005. It consisted of 84 episodes and revolved around a School of Performing Arts, directed by Carmen Arranz, to which Lola Herrera gave life. It showed the viewer the daily life of the teachers but, above all, of the students who worked hard to make their dream of becoming dancers, singers or actors come true.
Pablo Puyol, Beatriz Luengo, Mónica Cruz, Miguel Ángel Muñoz or Asier Etxeandía, among others, were the young actors who played the characters in the series. What’s more, some of these even actually formed a musical group, called UPA Dance, which was successful with songs like “Morenita” or “Sámbame”.

Specifically, teams such as Getafe, Córdoba, UCAM Murcia, Mirandés, SD Huesca, Tenerife, Cádiz or Elche, among others, participate in this.
