Welcome to a new weekly inspiration. Prepare your camera because in a few moments you will feel an irrepressible desire to take photos.
How does it work?
The Weekly Inspiration format is an excuse to stimulate your passion for photography and invite you to participate, every week, with a photo of your creation.
Every week I will propose a photo for you to be inspired by. To participate, you will have to make a photo “inspired” in some way in the proposed photo. It doesn’t have to be exactly the same, but be related or inspired by the proposed photo of the week: you can use the same theme, the same type of subject, or photograph another theme and another subject but imitating the same light scheme, for instance. Any well-crafted photograph will be valid as long as it is clearly seen that it was inspired by the proposed photo, in terms of technique, composition or theme. Otherwise it would not be valid.
Topics will be proposed Thursday and the deadline to upload the photograph will be until Wednesday, the following Thursday I will propose a new call with a gallery of images that I liked the most, and an outstanding one among all those in the gallery. In addition, I will upload a new photo that will be the image that will serve to inspire you during that week. You will have until Wednesday (with the weekend in between) to capture your image (just one per participant), give it a title and upload it.
How to take part
We put at your disposal several means through which you can upload your photograph to our weekly inspiration chain. Remember that the idea is to upload a single photo per participant and in only one of these media:
- Facebook: Upload your photo to the Facebook wall of Photographer’s Blog. In the description of the photo, please mention the keyword #InspirationBdF106 followed by a title of your choice. Remember that the title of photography is as important as photography itself.
- Flickr: You can participate by uploading the photo to the Photographer’s Blog Group Mural. Give your photo a caption and be sure to mention the hashtag #InspirationBdF106 in the same. If you don’t, I won’t know if you want to participate or just share it, so it won’t be highlighted. For this it is also necessary that the download is enabled ;).
- Instagram: Try to use the hashtag #InspirationBdF106 and give your photo a title that lives up to it ;). Remember that your profile must be public so that we can see your images.
- Twitter: Upload the photo directly to Twitter with the hashtag #InspirationBdF106 and with a cool title.
From the previous week…
Long live love in all its aspects:
Featured Photo of the Week
“Love is in Cayetano street” by Calarnos, is this week’s featured photo. I have chosen it because sometimes it is necessary to transgress the rules, as in this case in which the point of interest has been placed in the center, leaving the rule of thirds aside.
Because yes, the rules must be learned and respected when necessary or convenient, but in art, as in love, you have to go beyond the rules and let yourself be carried away by feeling and by what your photographic eye-heart dictates. .
I also like what it conveys with the soft blur, just enough to highlight the protagonists leaving the hustle and bustle of the street in the background. I think it tells of that moment when it seems that nothing else exists, the kiss moment in which the world disappears and everything revolves around the loved one. It is like a fade to black, which takes you to infinite space or a black hole in the galaxy, but you are not aware of what is happening around you, neither the people, nor the noises, nor the colors, nor anything at all, because the only noise and the only color is within you. And the rest doesn’t matter. Congratulations Calanos!

Weekly Inspiration 106 (from 04/18/2019 to 04/25/2019)
There are many ways to convey tenderness. This seems wonderful and accurate. We went from kiss to hug, although I promise it was not intentional, maybe my subconscious had something to do with it ;). There are many elements of the image that can inspire you. Each one will be struck by one, according to his tastes, expectations or interests.
I want to see what inspires you in this image. Would you like your photo to be the next featured one? show me Your camera awaits you. Me too 😉 .
