We are going to dedicate this week’s effort to giving prominence to an element that usually goes unnoticed and that, sometimes, even gets in the way. Let’s highlight its beauty.
How does it work? (Reminder)
Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog, putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The themes will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. Topics will be proposed Fridayso that you have all the Weekend to work them. You will have one week to upload your photograph (one photo per participant), until Thursday of the following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that has captivated me the most and on Friday I will propose a new topic so that you have the whole weekend to capture your images, and so on…
Weekly Challenge 195: Stones (from 01/27/2017 to 02/02/2017)
This week’s challenge is to look for the beauty of stones. Yes, there are precious stones, but not all of them are brilliant and sapphires, some even get in the way many times in the photographs that we want to take. Now, as a photographer you must learn to capture their natural beauty, to know how to photograph them so that they are beautiful, so that they are an active part of the composition or even so that they are attractive protagonists.
This week you have to make an effort so that all the stones seem precious to us. Do you accept the challenge? 🙂 I knew you wouldn’t let me down!

This week’s featured photo is “Live finds the way”, by MP Melián. A creative and original image. Very well worked that light that falls laterally to highlight the textures and volumes, both of the stones and of the petals. Wonderful perspective that takes advantage of the dark background and creates a greater visual impact; and very successful depth of field used. All this on a technical level, if we talk about the message there is also a lot to say, although it is summed up very well in the title. I am left with the idea that despite adversity, life appears (and beauty too) And you? Are you on alert to catch her? Congratulations MP Melián!
