Weekly Challenge 190: Sweet

Tomorrow is Christmas Eve and after Christmas. I bet you will have a lot of sweet things and moments in front of you and your camera at hand. Show us the best?

How does it work? (Reminder)

Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog, putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The themes will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. Topics will be proposed Fridayso that you have all the Weekend to work them. You will have one week to upload your photograph (one photo per participant), until Thursday of the following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that has captivated me the most and on Friday I will propose a new topic so that you have the whole weekend to capture your images, and so on…

Weekly Challenge 190: Sweet (from 12/23/2016 to 12/29/2016)

If I distinguish between “thing” and “moment” it is because sweetness can be found beyond Christmas cakes and nougats. You can also transmit the sweetness of a baby or a moment, with which you have more possibilities and fewer excuses 😉

When it comes to photographing the sweets that are eaten, I think this article will come to you from the movies and, since we are here, if you can capture the magic of Christmas with your moment/sweet, even better 😉 And remember, put a title to your photo and selecting only one are also necessary exercises 😉

Small challenges that add up to a whole. You dare? Come on, a little more sweetness for these holidays!

As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge upload your photo to the Facebook wall from the Photographer’s Blog: In the description of the photo please mention the keyword “Sweet Challenge” followed by a title of your choice.

Alternative Means to Participate

Lwhat If you are not from Facebook, you have the following social networks to participate.

Twitter: uploading the photo directly to Twitter with the hashtag #SweetB ChallengedF

Happy photography and Happy Holidays!

Update

Thank you dear readers for sweetening my day. I leave you with a delicious sample of the images received:

As this week’s featured photo I mention “Christmas Pacman”, by Manuel Rodríguez. This pacman or comecocos, is an interesting composition of its author. He has taken great care in placing each element in the exact place, a lot of touch with the colors so that everything fits perfectly, like the notes of a sheet music. He has known how to play very well with color and balance, making it a very visually attractive composition. I like the idea of Pac-Man and those little crumbs in front of him, about to be eaten by Pac-Man. I also find the perspective very interesting, perhaps a more zenithal point of view would have been more impressive, but the sweet filling of the Pac-Man would have been lost, so this angle seems very successful. Playing with the depth of field has also been a good decision to highlight the protagonist of this composition. Also, that Christmas point… 😉 Congratulations, Manuel and congratulations to all those people who have participated sweetening the moment. Thanks.

Happy New Year. My best wishes to those of you who make the challenge possible every week.
