Today I bring you a new challenge to practice your favorite hobby, do you sign up?
How does it work? (Reminder)
Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog, putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The themes will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. Topics will be proposed Fridayso that you have all the Weekend to work them. You will have one week to upload your photograph (one photo per participant), until Thursday of the following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that has captivated me the most and on Friday I will propose a new topic so that you have the whole weekend to capture your images, and so on…
Weekly Challenge 157: At the End of the Corridor (from 05/05/2016 to 05/12/2016)
Last week I already proposed a challenge with which it was not necessary to even leave the house. This week I make it just as easy for you, so you have no excuse 😉
I remember that long corridors scared me when I was little, that’s why I thought it could be a good theme to convey mystery, but it also serves to work on the vanishing point, or the lines, for example. As you can see, such a simple element can give a lot of play. Practice including and without a human element, and then decide what works best for your image and what you want to convey. You sign up?
As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge upload your photo to the Facebook wall from the Photographer’s Blog: In the description of the photo please mention the keyword “Challenge at the End of the Corridor” followed by a title of your choice.
Alternative Means to Participate
Lwhat If you are not from Facebook, you have the following social networks to participate.
- Flickr: accessing the Group Mural of the Photographer’s Blog and uploading the photo directly. Give your photo a caption and be sure to mention “Challenge at the end of the hall” in the same.
- Twitter: uploading the photo directly to Twitter with the hashtag #ChallengeFinalPasilloBdF
Happy photography.

I love Jay Motta’s “Holocaust Memorial” photography. A great composition, a girl surrounded by negative space, framed by it, who slips into the middle of the corridor stealing all the attention. A figure that breaks the rhythm of the structures to tell us a story. A timeless black and white that draws attention to the scene. No distractions, because here the color is not important, not even appropriate, because the place is dedicated to a gray memory, or rather black. Also, black and white adds mystery, as do the questions that are raised. Who’s that Girl? Why is she there? She Is she remembering someone? Perhaps she seeks to lose herself? These questions that arise add more attractiveness to photography and invite us to invent our own story, letting our imagination run wild. Congratulations Jay, great photo!
