Weekly Challenge 151: Congratulations Dad

Tomorrow is Father’s Day. Do you dare to congratulate yours with a photograph?

How does it work? (Reminder)

Every week I will propose a new challenge, it is a topic that you will have to capture in a photograph and upload it to the Facebook page of the blog, putting in the description the keyword that I will indicate for each topic. The themes will be varied, from portraits to Macro photography, through landscapes, black and white photography, or babies. Topics will be proposed Fridayso that you have all the Weekend to work them. You will have one week to upload your photograph (one photo per participant), until Thursday of the following week. On Thursday I will update the article with the photo that has captivated me the most and on Friday I will propose a new topic so that you have the whole weekend to capture your images, and so on…

Weekly Challenge 151: Congratulations Dad (from 03/18/2016 to 03/24/2016)

Having a child does not make you a parent. Being a parent is getting involved, respecting, loving deeply, sharing, giving, dedicating, teaching, protecting, learning, forgetting, forgiving, adapting… (and much more). If you have a father present, or have had one, if you know what it means to look into your eyes and feel in the safest place in the world, the least your father deserves is that you dedicate a photo to him, one of them, together , of something or some significant place for you, of an important gesture, of the celebration that you do together.

Congratulate your father in the best way you know how to express yourself, through your photo camera, tell him what you feel, how much you love him, how much you have to thank him for having been there, by your side, in the difficult moments, in the easy ones. , in the fun ones and in the less fun ones. Surprise her and surprise the rest of the blog readers. Photography is feeling, it shows everything you have inside, it is your double chance, are you going to let it escape?

As usual, to participate in this week’s challenge upload your photo to the Facebook wall from the Photographer’s Blog: In the description of the photo please mention the keyword “Congratulations Dad Challenge” followed by a title of your choice.

Alternative Means to Participate

Lwhat If you are not from Facebook, you have the following social networks to participate.

  • Flickr: accessing the Group Mural of the Photographer’s Blog and uploading the photo directly. Give your photo a caption and be sure to mention “Congratulations Dad Challenge” in the same.
  • Twitter: uploading the photo directly to Twitter with the hashtag #ChallengeCongratulationsPapáBdF

Update

From the blog we congratulate all those wonderful parents for whom their sons and daughters feel passion. And… THANK YOU to those who have wanted to share that love with the rest! I leave you a brief demonstration of all the congratulations and tokens of affection received:

Today I keep the image of Isaac Tgn. What a nice congratulations! It is a photograph with a very well treated black and white, a beautiful lateral light, well focused and with a composition that, although it is very risky for cutting parts of the face, works very well, since it focuses all the attention on the look and on that “kiss-mouth” so full of love from son to father. It is a fresh, tender, emotional image with a lot of energy. The father’s gesture counts as much as the child’s. A happy father and a beloved son who loves his father like crazy, a great team. It is a moment in which these feelings are revealed and that the author has captured wonderfully well. Congratulations to that dad and congratulations on the Isaac photo!
