Trick to clean and disinfect pillows without using the washing machine

To keep your pillows clean and disinfected, you can use a simple trick that will allow you to avoid the use of chemical products and the washing machine, to save water and take care of the environment.

The product that you will learn to make yourself will act as a disinfectant to clean the pillows and keep them free of mites and bacteria, especially when you do not have enough time to wash them.

  • Half a cup of baking soda (125 gr)
  • 10 drops of tea tree essential oil
  • A brush

Process

1. In a bowl, mix the baking soda with the essential oil drops.

2. Spread the mixture on the pillow. Let it rest for an hour.

3. Brush the fabric to remove excess and lay it out in the open air before reuse.
