Total solar eclipse: how the energy that accompanies us will change

2020 was a busy, strong and intense year and it seems that it could not end differently. Between November 30 and December 14 we meet two powerful eclipses. The second will be a total solar eclipse that can be seen from Argentina, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and part of Brazil.

This will be given in last days of Sagittarius, affecting especially those born under this sign and the other mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo and Pisces. Those who will feel its effects the most will be those born in the last days of these signs (or with a moon or ascendant in the last degrees of these signs).

We may feel more sensitive, with headaches, more anxiety, more tired or energized. Each body experiences these movements and energy changes in another way. Let’s stay tuned to listen to each other, what we feel and what we need.

This is not to scare us. Astrology used as an apocalyptic tool or to spread fear is the last thing I think this wonderful symbolic language is good for.

Decoding the connection between heaven and earth helps us understand each other better. Getting out of our navel a bit and our self-referential gaze to “see myself”, to “see ourselves” as elements of a much broader system. See the dance that unfolds between our different aspects, with which we identify, and also with which we feel more alien, but that are there. That if they repeat themselves, they have something to do with us, they are telling us something. We are our history, we are our links and also we are the possibility of healing and transforming pain and repetition into something new.

An eclipse is similar to that feeling of being in a room where the light suddenly goes out, and after a while, it comes back on. We need a few moments to get used to it and look around us again, what is there. An eclipse feels a bit like this. It allows us to perceive more clearly something that perhaps we had not noticed before. The possibility of realizing is more alive. Our sharpest vision.

Or looking at it the other way around, everything is stronger. Our emotions, thoughts, worries or sensations, more intense.

Seeing what we didn’t see before is usually uncomfortable. Realizing it, it can be uncomfortable. Upset. A part of us would have preferred to continue like this, without questioning ourselves, without realizing it, moving forward, without changing anything.

But realizing it leads us to the crossroads of having to choose. Deciding whether to continue down the same path, with and despite what we have discovered, or to try something different. Take distance, break, change, arm or disarm. Go on a new path. New to us, which is not the same as new to others. take a chance

Feel the vertigo and also the pleasure.

The pleasure of relief.

Because realizing is also understanding, and understanding, relieves.
