Robert is a young married man, a girl that many would describe as “curvy”: she doesn’t have a magazine body, but a normal one, with curves.
He saw much more in her than that – or perhaps he saw that, and it was what attracted him – and tired of the criticism, he wrote a note dedicated to her that he published on social networks and is going around the world.
On July 30, Robert Tripp published an image of his wife, Sarah, through his Instagram account. The image was accompanied by this message:
“I love this woman and her curvaceous body. As a teenager, I was often teased by my friends for my attraction to girls with thick bodies, the ones that were petite and curvy, the girls that the average (basic) guy might refer to as “chubby” or even “fat.” So as I became a man and began educating myself on topics like feminism and how the media marginalizes women by portraying a very narrow and very specific standard of beauty (thin, tall and skinny), I realized how many men have bought a lie. .
To me, there is nothing sexier than this woman you see here: thick thighs, big booty, cute little side roll, etc. The shape and size of her will not be the one that appears on the cover of Cosmopolitan, but it is the one that appears in my life AND in my heart. There is nothing sexier for me than a woman who is curvy (with curves) and sure of herself; this beautiful girl i married fills every inch of her jeans and is still the most beautiful in the room.
Guys, think again what society has told you that you should want. A real woman is not a porn star or a bikini mannequin or a movie character. She is real. She has beautiful growth marks on her hips and cute little dimples on her booty. Girls, never fool yourself into thinking that you have to fit a certain mold in order to be loved and appreciated. There’s a guy out there who’s going to celebrate you for exactly who you are, someone who’s going to love you like I love my Sarah.”
The image has received hundreds of comments supporting the couple, although there are also different positions, such as those discussed in the video. What do you think of his message?
