Last June, Morgan King, an American from Knoxville, Tennessee, was unable to go to school because she had no one to care for her young daughter Korbyn.
For this reason, he decided to write to his teacher Sally B. Hunter apologizing for his absence.
Professor Hunter replied, “If you’re having trouble finding someone to care for Korbyn, please don’t hesitate to bring her to class. She would be more than happy to hold her in her arms while I teach so you can pay attention and take notes.”
Hunter’s response, posted by Morgan on his Twitter account, has been shared by nearly 5,000 people and has received more than 270 comments.
What do you think of this teacher’s reaction to her student’s difficulty?
