This exciting story will remind you that you should never judge before your time.

How many times do you get carried away by the first impression when judging someone? And how many times do you get it right?

This exciting story will help you reflect on it.

One day at a popular ice cream parlor in town, there was a slightly grumpy waitress. That day a 10-year-old boy entered the place, alone, and sat at a table. The boy seemed to be very poor, and she immediately believed that she was hiding something strange.

He approached the table and the boy asked him:

-How much does a chocolate ice cream with nuts cost?
“It’s worth 5 dollars,” replied the waitress.

The boy checked a bag where he kept the money, frowned, and asked him again

-And the ice cream only how much does it cost?

As the waitress had a lot of work and had the young man between her eyebrows, she answered him in a bad way:

-It’s worth 3.5.

The boy looked in his bag again and nodded.

-Well, I want an ice cream only then.

The waitress brought her ice cream with a grim face, put the bill on the table and left. The boy finished the ice cream, paid at the register and left the premises. The whole time, the waitress hardly took her eyes off him.

Once the boy was gone, she began clearing the table, then swallowed hard at what she saw. On the table was 1.5 dollars. The boy had ordered the cheapest ice cream so he could tip! To her, who had mistreated him!

Since then, the waitress never again judged a person based on their appearance alone.

The next time you judge someone by how they look, how they’re dressed, or anything else, think for a moment:

Do you know what is in his heart? Are you sure that person can’t make you grow?

Better, instead of judging, look inside yourself, and try to understand why that person makes you feel that way. Surely, you will discover much more than you imagine.
