The fact that we live on average 75 years is a fascinating achievement. Just over 200 years ago, most people lived on average only 30 years. Thanks to the growth of industrialized society, this has changed, but despite the fact that we eradicate diseases or invent cures, there is still something that can be deadly for anyone, a dangerous animal.
Conde Nast Traveler found the most ferocious animals in the world and although some are as big and strong as they are portrayed on the screen -such as the African buffalo or African buffalo that lives up to its nickname of “the black death”- there are also other less intimidating creatures but much more lethal.

Considered by some to be the deadliest animal on the planet, it is actually the most poisonous marine animal. This animal, up to three meters long, has 5 billion stinging cells in each of its 15 tentacles. Just brushing against the jellyfish is enough to cause enormous pain, and depending on the impact the venom can cause shock and cardiac arrest.
Blowfish
Not as poisonous as the sea wasp, but more common among humans, especially in Japan, where it is considered a delicacy that only highly trained chefs can cook, as this animal has venom in its skin, muscles, liver, kidneys, and plus. As recently as three years ago, five men were hospitalized after eating poorly prepared puffer fish.
black mamba
Despite the fact that there are other more venomous or larger snakes (so much so that they can strangle adult buffaloes), the black mamba gains speed, moving up to 20 kilometers per hour. A single bite is capable of killing ten adult men and worst of all, they do not bite just once, but attack repeatedly. If you ever find yourself in the African savannah, hope you don’t run into one.
sea crocodile
The region of India, Vietnam and Australia have this type of crocodile which is really terrible. One of the oldest animals on the face of the earth continues to be one of the most dangerous, killing hundreds of people every year. One of the most famous episodes is the 1945 massacre when nearly a thousand Japanese soldiers fell to these animals in a single night after they entered a swamp in Burma while fleeing from British troops.
Mosquito
The mosquito is found all over the world and although there are areas where they are relatively harmless, in places like Africa they continue to kill millions of people. It is estimated that about 700 million people suffer from some disease related to mosquitoes and that 725 thousand of these people die each year.
Human being
Obvious or surprise? Despite the fact that human beings are statistically experiencing one of their most peaceful moments, we cannot ignore our violent history of more than 10,000 years. It is believed that between 150 million and one billion people have died in all of humanity’s wars and if we compare our treatment with animals, the real predators and murderers are us.
All lives count and even if there are deadly animals we must respect their habitat and understand that they act on instinct. We have a bigger picture and it is our duty to stay safe and respect life.
