The woman who hasn’t gone to the bathroom in 17 years

There are certain things that people don’t want to talk about, and one of them is going or not going to the bathroom.

Many people are embarrassed to talk about their problems going to the bathroom. Nevertheless, this woman’s story leaves everyone speechless because of how amazing it is. Surely what happened to him will change a lot your way of thinking about the matter.

Krystal Miller is a 32-year-old Australian who at first glance seems to lead a normal and healthy life, but the truth is that this beautiful woman suffers from a terrible disease and fights every day to end the taboo that exists around it.

To achieve this, he decided to confess that he could not go to the bathroom in 17 years, and this news went viral on social networks.

At age 15, he was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease, a chronic inflammatory bowel disease that affects the lining of the digestive tract. This disorder produces a very strong condition of the stomach and intestines that causes chronic stomach pain, diarrhea and painful bowel movements. Doctors are not entirely sure why it arises, all that is known is that it is chronic and that there is no cure.

This disease made Krystal’s life change completely. It was not easy to live with her, she felt exhausted at all times, even after 15 hours of sleep. This condition made her feel sick all the time, and sometimes even she couldn’t even brush her teeth without vomiting. She then decided to hide the illness from her as much as she could, to the point that she began to isolate herself more and more from others.

When he was 22 years old, the disease became his worst enemy, until he had to undergo an operation in which a large part of his intestine was removed. Y Since there was no known cure, the doctors gave him an “artificial” way out.. They put a kind of bag on one side of his stomach, which is where all the waste from his body goes.

The surgery was invasive and the recovery exhausting, but it gave Krystal a new lease on life. She traveled to London where she participated in charity events to help other people with colostomy bags to wear underwear and bathing suits that could make them feel attractive.

The mother of two children describes that having this disease means always feeling sick to her stomach. She confesses that she had difficulty accepting this suffering. That is why she has now decided to openly share her story with the world.

Although accepting Crohn’s disease has taken her a long time, she can now speak openly about it and post her experiences online so she can encourage others with the same chronic disease.

Miller hopes that by sharing her story she can help and encourage others with a similar condition and educate the community at large about life with a bag.
