Michael Reynolds is an American architect who, concerned about the environment and innovating in design, decides to implement a completely sustainable house that harms the environment as little as possible: it provides itself with water, automatically maintains a comfortable temperature, or recycles their own waste. In order to be able to move forward with his project, Reynolds will have to fight hard against the bureaucracy and other instances, turning his into an unintentionally quasi-epic story, in order to present this housing model to the general public.
