Quinoa, yogurt, oatmeal and fruit parfait

Quinoa is one of the most nutritious foods in the world. Why is it good to include it in our diet? Because it contains fiber, it has a low glycemic index, it is high in minerals and in all the essential amino acids. In addition, it is not genetically modified and is usually grown organically. With this easy recipe you can incorporate quinoa into your daily diet, creating a delicious and healthy dessert.

Ingredients

To make this dessert you need:

– 1/2 cup of raw quinoa
– 3/4 of 1 apple, pear, strawberries or the fruit of your choice
– 200 ml of natural or vanilla flavor skimmed yogurt (you can do it yourself)
– Oatmeal, nuts or jam to decorate
– Stevia (or any natural sweetener) and cinnamon

Preparation

1) Cut the fruit into small pieces and add stevia and cinnamon.
2) Take to the pan or oven for a few minutes until the apple softens.
2) Leave the quinoa resting in water overnight. The next day, strain it and wash it again.

5) In a glass container, place a layer of yogurt, another layer of quinoa and the fruit on top.
6) Repeat the previous steps until the container is complete.
7) Decorate with toasted oats, nuts or a tablespoon of jam.
