#Photoreto40: Joy

I bring you a new topic so you can go get your camera and practice your favorite hobby: photography.

Our Photo Challenge aims to encourage you to practice photography, provoke you every week to spend some time with your camera and let your creativity fly while you practice and learn.

How Photoreto works

The concept of Fotoreto is very simple: every Friday I will propose a new photographic theme. Sometimes I will show you an example photo to inspire you, other times I will simply give you a hint or trick that you can apply when doing the Photo Challenge.

Each time you will have 7 days to participate in the Photo Challenge of the week in question, until the following Thursday. turn it up to your favorite social network (Instagram either Facebook) without forgetting the hashtag or the label corresponding to the Photoreto in question along with the mention of @blogfotografo. this week will be #fotoreto40

Each week we will select a winning photograph. The author of the photo will take a book from our BdF digital book library.

When you participate in the Photochallenge, we understand that you allow Photographer’s Blog to publish your photograph. In no case do you transfer your copyright to us. The author of the photograph and who maintains the exclusivity of copyright remains you.

Theme of the week: Joy (02/28/20 – 03/05/20)

Capturing emotions is one of the ways a photographer has to do magic, and for this he has different resources, from gestures to colors.

This week we challenge you to capture joy, jubilation and any other synonym that conveys that, joy. Look for a creative, different way, and surprise us.

Send your best photo and don’t forget to add the hashtag #fotoreto40 and the mention @blogfotografo. One of our ebooks can be yours, what are you waiting for?!

Update

Thank you and a thousand thanks for this torrent of joy that has flooded our Facebook and our Instagram profile.

This week’s photo belongs to Alexander Chaves Solórzano.

They say that the most sincere smile is the smile of the eyes. The one that cannot be faked or simulated and the one that really conquers us. And that is what this little girl brings us, a laugh that reaches the soul because it comes from the soul. Because it is authentic, innocent and overwhelming.

I like this portrait for what it tells and conveys, which was the objective of this theme, joy, but in addition to that, I love how careful the light is. How it only illuminates her, leaving the background somewhat dark, the softness with which it bathes her and, above all, her warmth. Because it is a warm, endearing photo and that is what its light also tells us.

Also mention how the author has highlighted the protagonist using blur. Perhaps, regarding the frame, I would have lowered the camera a little more to have more space below instead of above, but even so, I love the perspective at its height. We stand squarely in front of her.

Congratulations Alejandro and thanks for this sincere (son)laugh.

Tomorrow new Photochallenge, we radically change the third, a topic that will be talked about 😉 If you want to know more, don’t miss it!
