I bring you a new topic so you can go get your camera and practice your favorite hobby: photography.
Our Photo Challenge aims to encourage you to practice photography, provoke you every week to spend some time with your camera and let your creativity fly while you practice and learn.
How Photoreto works
The concept of Fotoreto is very simple: every Friday I will offer you, in video, a new photographic theme. Sometimes I will show you an example photo to inspire you, other times I will simply give you a hint or trick that you can apply when doing the Photo Challenge.
Each time you will have 7 days to participate in the Photo Challenge of the week in question, until the following Thursday. turn it up to your favorite social network (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter either Flickr) once we have published the call and without forgetting the hashtag or the label corresponding to the Photochallenge in question. this week will be #photoreto12 .
Each week we will select a winning photograph. The author of the photo will take the book that he likes the most from our BdF digital book library.
When you participate in the Photochallenge, we understand that you allow Photographer’s Blog to publish your photograph. In no case do you transfer your copyright to us. The author of the photograph and who maintains the exclusivity of copyright remains you.
Theme of the week: Darkness (08/02/19 – 08/08/19)
This week’s theme is darkness, and no, I’m not talking about a fade-to-black photo. That can be done by anyone and it is of no interest to anyone. The idea is to use darkness to highlight your protagonist, to set a context, to create a story or to convey an emotion.
Finding beauty in the absence of light is your photographic task this week. You have the option of working indoors or outdoors and at different times of the day. Searching online for inspiration can be a good idea if you don’t know where to start.
When you have your photo upload it to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter either Flickr with the hashtag # Fotoreto12 . We will review all the images you upload on all four platforms starting with this post.
I’m waiting for your picture.
Update
We already smelled that it was a topic that was going to give a lot of itself and that’s how it has been. The darkness is clear that gives wings to your creativity. We’ve had it all: Lightpainting, eclipses, fascinating portraits, and a lot of mystery.
Without a doubt, we have enjoyed all your photos (thanks for that ;)). If you haven’t seen them yet, I recommend you take a look at all the results in the different galleries: Instagram, Flickr, FacebookY Twitter.
Our winning photograph this week belongs to AV (@almoveviphoto)an image without a title but that speaks for itself.
An image can catch you for many things, sometimes it is an amazing technique, sometimes it is a wonderful moment, sometimes it is what it evokes and other times it is its originality. This photo is the sum of many of these things.
I like everything about this image, but above all I like it a lot the atmosphere that creates the light dim that illuminates the protagonist. This soft angled light creates beautiful textures on the wall and on the main subject, giving it a painterly feel that works wonders for it.
The composition is also very balanced both with the light itself and with the concentrated and sober expression of the protagonist. It could not be otherwise, because when an image works, it is usually due to the sum of many things.
In this case, it is clear that this sum works perfectly, so I can only congratulate the creator 🙂 Congratulations!
And know that a new photo challenge suitable for all types of cameras, and all levels of photographer, is coming soon, so stay tuned and pay attention! See you tomorrow photographers 🙂
