You know that our main objective is to help you photograph, not only with tips, tricks and more, but also by motivating you to use your camera. Therefore, this is our gift for this year.
The advent calendar has been installed in many homes and from the team we wanted to convene our own proposal to which you could join in the period in which we prepare (photographically speaking) for something as special and magical as Christmas.
Why participate in the advent calendar?
Sometimes our main enemy is laziness. That is why we have prepared this event that you will love for several reasons:
- We will bring you one every day excuse to photograph.
- You will practice with the tips and tricks that we share daily.
- You will have the opportunity to interact (and be inspired) with the rapidly growing Photographer’s Blog community (which makes us very happy).
- With your participation you can win a prize that we reveal below (keep reading).
How to participate in the 2021 photo advent calendar?
We have been preparing it for some time and we are very happy that it sees the light, the starting gun will be launched shortly, for now, we are going to tell you how this photographic Advent Calendar works:
- will be able to participate anyone with a public account so that your photos are visible, regardless of the country in which you reside.
- The photographic advent calendar will take place from December 1 to 24, 2021 in the social network Instagram.
- Every day, from 1 to 24, we will publish on Instagram the theme and the hashtags corresponding, which will be for everyone #BdFAdviento and a specific one per theme that we will communicate on each occasion. Each participant will upload her photograph to her gallery including the indicated hashtags and mentioning @blogfotografo. Photos will not be valid. storiessent by mail or direct message.
- You can participate with single photo per subjectuploaded from the publication of the call (and at the latest until December 24).
- Every week we will highlight photos that catch our attention and, among all the participants, we will choose a winning photograph, whose author or author will enjoy a free annual subscription to Mario’s Masterclasses.
- The winner will be chosen by the BdF team following criteria of:
- Technique: remember that it is a photographic advent, a challenge to learn and practice photography, so we hope you take care of the technique and ensure that your photos (with creative exceptions) have a correct exposure and focus.
- Composition: you already know that composition is a very important part of photography, a correct image, with an inadequate or uninteresting composition, goes completely unnoticed.
- Creativity: creativity is an added value. Among so many images, the most creative photographs stand out above the rest. Surprise us, thrill us. Make you the first person proud of the result. There is no greater prize than that.
- Participation: It is not mandatory to participate in all themes, but the more you participate, the more chances you have to win or to see your photo among the highlights. If one day you can’t upload the photo with the proposed theme, don’t worry, you have until the last day to share it. The idea is that you practice and have fun without getting overwhelmed. That’s why we leave you enough time. We want you to enjoy it.
