#Photochallenge28: Family

I bring you a new topic so you can go get your camera and practice your favorite hobby: photography.

Our Photo Challenge aims to encourage you to practice photography, provoke you every week to spend some time with your camera and let your creativity fly while you practice and learn.

How Photoreto works

The concept of Fotoreto is very simple: every Friday I will propose a new photographic theme. Sometimes I will show you an example photo to inspire you, other times I will simply give you a hint or trick that you can apply when doing the Photo Challenge.

Each time you will have 7 days to participate in the Photo Challenge of the week in question, until the following Thursday. turn it up to your favorite social network (Instagram either Facebook) without forgetting the hashtag or the label corresponding to the Photoreto in question along with the mention of @blogfotografo. this week will be #fotoreto28

Each week we will select a winning photograph. The author of the photo will take the book that he likes the most from our BdF digital book library.

When you participate in the Photochallenge, we understand that you allow Photographer’s Blog to publish your photograph. In no case do you transfer your copyright to us. The author of the photograph and who maintains the exclusivity of copyright remains you.

Theme of the week: Family (11/29/19 – 12/5/19)

This week I propose to photograph the family. It can be your own or another. Families come in all shapes and sizes.

mobster, terrifying, tender, well avenue or warrior, it doesn’t matter, we want to meet her as you see her. Show us what family is for you with your image. Remember to take care of the exposure and composition, don’t forget that it is a photographic challenge 😉 . In this article you will find some suggestions for photographing families and in this other a dose of inspiration.

Update

Now that Christmas is approaching, it is very exciting to see family photos and the feelings that they arouse. Thank you for sharing a piece of your life with this community. You can see the participating photos on Facebook and Instagram.

This week’s featured photograph belongs to Rubén Cáceres and is entitled “When the circle of karma closes with good things.”

If I have chosen this photograph it is because of all the feeling it gives off. It is a moment of intimacy, of pure love, a moment of magic in which the circle closes. Because that’s how I understand the concept of family, like a pineapple, forming part of a whole, like here.

At a compositional level, the fact that there are three elements (and three fingers 😉 ) makes the result rounder, we already know the power of three, right? In addition, the way in which the three are arranged in the frame seems very interesting and effective, a circle that becomes an attractive triangle for the eye.

I like that lateral light that illuminates just enough so as not to disturb that intimate moment, to let us observe from afar but feel close, without disturbing. Enjoying the family warmth that they give off.

Maybe I repeat myself a lot, but you may have already noticed how much I like black and white, especially for this type of photography. On the one hand because of how timeless it makes them, on the other, because it focuses all the attention on the story.

Congratulations Rubén and thank you for sharing this emotional image with us.
