Personal Review of the Nikon D7100

If you are looking for an SLR camera, you are not a professional photographer, but you are an amateur user looking for advanced features, a resistant, powerful camera, and almost professional features, do not waste time. You need a Nikon D7100.

The ideal user of this camera is that amateur photographer who knows that a 350 Euro SLR is not enough for him, he is a user who wants to experiment with somewhat “limit” photographic situations having the support of a machine that responds quickly, which is robust, that withstands rain, dust and whatever they throw at it, a camera that focuses quickly, that “sees” in the dark, a camera whose battery lasts for days and days of photos without having to recharge. Drawbacks of the Nikon D7100

There is no perfect camera. Something was wrong with the Nikon D7100. If I have to be totally honest with you, I have to play this part too 🙂
Don’t worry, nothing serious, but the camera is big, big, and this bothers some people. Compared to a Canon 1100D or a Nikon D3200, the latter two look almost like a bridge or compact camera. The D7100 is bulky, not very inconspicuous, and weighs an egg in a backpack. It doesn’t bother me but it’s supposed to be an inconvenience.
Another inconvenience is that it doesn’t have the novelties and gimmicks that other cameras, even lower-end ones, have: it doesn’t take panoramic photos automatically, it doesn’t take 3D photos or anything like that. If that type of photography interests you, the D7100 is not your camera.
The screen is not rotatable: Cheaper cameras like the Nikon D5100 or D5200 have a rotating screen, which is very useful for taking self-portraits.
