Parent team: Katy Perry reveals what her days are like with her daughter and her partner Orlando Bloom

These parents reveal more than ever that paternity should be approached as such, on equal terms with motherhood, to the extent possible. Of course there are tasks that a man cannot fulfill, such as breastfeeding a baby, but he can support and accompany in other tasks. Among the parents, whatever their gender, a team must be formed, as in this case, in which they support each other.

Parenting as a team

Orlando Bloom gives us the example, after Katy Perry – her fiancé and mother of their first daughter together – shared a video of the actor giving the singer a sandwich in her mouth, while she was breastfeeding the little girl.

Their daughter, Daisy Dove, was born in August 2020, and since then, they have been very committed to their respective roles as father and mother on social media. Perry, 37, shines as a new mother and Bloom, 45, already has experience since she has a son with her ex-partner, Miranda Kerr.

On this occasion, the artist thanked her for having formed a great team with Orlando, and greeted him on his birthday: “The happiest number 45 to the kindest, deepest, most soulful, sexy, strongest man I know.”

“Thank you for being a constant compass, an unshakeable anchor and bringing the joy of life to every room you walk through. You are the love and light of my life. I thank my lucky stars for you and our dear dd”, expressed the singer.

In a video the couple appears with their girl. They appear to be in a restaurant as Bloom carefully bends over to offer Katy a sandwich. She takes a big bite, then smiles and gives the camera a thumbs up. All while she was breastfeeding her daughter.

Well, the singer’s followers celebrated this gesture, as they take on responsibilities and take on this new challenge, together, as a true team.

Do you agree with this couple and that their tasks be divided when it comes to being parents?
