The Nikon D610 is an advanced camera that is just a few steps away from entering the professional section, aimed at photographers who, without being professionals, want to enjoy the advantages of a full-frame and professional features in a camera aimed at advanced amateurs. If you know and understand your SLR camera perfectly, if you feel that you can’t go any further with it, you are probably close to needing a more “serious” bet when it comes to your photographic equipment. Advantage
The Nikon D610 is a camera with almost professional features, balanced and very well built. It is robust, sealed to splashes and dust (with the same system used in Nikon’s professional range) but at the same time light and comfortable.
It also consists of a system of 39-point AF which allows us to work with the autofocus correctly even with low lighta more than correct ISO sensitivity range, a reflex sight with 100% coverage and a very good quality screen with digital level. It also includes a mode silent shot to work in situations where discretion is necessary 🙂
But what stands out the most about it is its sensor full-frame 24 MP that gives us high quality images, with great detail and with a good dynamic rangein a body smaller than her “older” sisters and therefore lower weightvolume and above all, price. Now, you will need a few savings, because we will see later that quality pays off 😉 However, at a lower price than its full-format older sisters. The Nikon D610 is a good way to get into full format without breaking the bank, without sacrificing great quality and without having to deal with heavy, expensive and indecipherable cameras for the (advanced) hobby photographer.
drawbacks
Little is missing in this camera for those who are looking for almost professional features in a camera of a smaller size and price. Perhaps it is missed at this point Wi-Fi connectivity. Neither has flip screenwhich can be a lack for some photographers.
