Multifunctional cabinet-shelf with sliding doors

  • 2 – 1/4″ plywood
  • 4 – 6 foot long 1×2
  • 2 – 8 foot long 1×4

1. Once you’ve taken all the measurements and cut the boards you need, build the frame for the cabinet box, from the outside in. Follow the scheme that you can see in the photograph:

2. Now add additional shelves on the sides and bottom, as you can see here:

3. Once you have assembled your central piece of furniture, you must build an upper and lower frame where the corridor support for the doors will be placed. Guide yourself by the following scheme:

4. Now, taking the measurements from the center to the sides of the piece of furniture, you must build the two doors, as you can see here:

5. Finally, install the system to return your sliding doors, and mount them on it.

And ready! You can paint your furniture or put some varnish or natural paint on it to maintain the wood, preserving its original rustic style.
