Along these lines, Mayma, which for 16 years has supported those who act from their conscience, undertaking and acting in order to transform the region’s economy to a more humane, inclusive and regenerative one, seeks to penetrate even deeper (literally) with the launch of its program Mayma Blue.
It is a revolutionary three-month program aimed at those who bet on the regeneration of our seas, oceans, rivers and any other body of water in the region, aiming at the global blue revolution through the creation of the first ecosystem regenerative blue from Latam.

This space for training, articulation, motivation, self-knowledge and support for producers of regenerative aquaculture, applied technology and its value chain, seeks to accelerate the transition towards regenerative aquaculture in Latin America.
“Emerging aquaculture production systems have significant potential to address the growing challenges of global food security, human nutritional needs with better environmental performance, as well as compensatory measures for climate change,” says Dana Cardozo, Coordinator of Mayma Azul.
Mayma proposes to strengthen those producers, scientists, technologists, service providers, innovative ventures and any other person who wants to process in a healthy and sustainable way, or who are already doing so by providing tools so that they can be economically dynamic, viable and independent. at the same time, key players in the provision of inputs and healthy food for themselves, for their community.

The program is carried out thanks to the support of related organizations such as Green Wave, Kelp Forest Foundation, Carrefour Foundation, Laboratorios Biotech, Bofish, Kausana, among others, and will have the presence of prominent speakers in the area and in business and outreach workshops.
In addition, those who participate will receive support from experts in the field through mentoring in terms of design and production strategy, qualifications, certifications and marketing.
