Today is a very important day.
In this article I am going to reveal to you the ambitious project that kept me busy for months. I’ll tell you about it below, but first, let me explain the context.
Mario… what camera do you recommend?
You cannot imagine the number of people who constantly write to me asking me to recommend a camera.
At first I responded to everyone who wrote to me (either in the blog comments, or by email), individually, but there came a time when I couldn’t cope.
I was unable to “advise” each of my readers.
So, years ago, I had the brilliant idea to write an article with the best cameras that I could recommend. I thought that this way I could help as many readers as possible without having to answer emails until the wee hours of the morning.
How naive!
Well, people kept writing to me.
They told me “Hey Mario, I’ve seen your article with the 10 best photo cameras, it’s very good but… hey colleague, of those 10 cameras can you recommend one that is PERFECT for me? Mario, I need you to make me a PERSONALIZED recommendation«.
If it were up to me, I would go out there to have a coffee or a beer with each of my readers, talk about photography and make each one a recommendation, advice, tailored.
I would like nothing in the world more than that.
But unfortunately, I can’t clone myself 😥.
Or should I say… I couldn’t clone myself. in the past
Because… now I can. I’m serious 😂.
At last: personalized, tailor-made recommendations
Here it goes: from TODAY, I can listen to the photographic needs of each of my readers and I can guide them towards an exact and specific type of camera, brand and model, and in a personalized way.
I present to you the “Personalized Camera Recommender” of Photographer’s Blog: a tool designed and built entirely by the BdF development team, which allows ANYONE to find the PERFECT camera, based on their own needs.
Behind this tool we have designed an authentic algorithm capable of understanding the type of photography and the type of use of each person and, based on that and other variables, make a recommendation for that person, but CUSTOMIZED 🤗.
This tool is the closest thing to… have a coffee with me. Only you save yourself having to “invite me” to coffee 😜.
You can access the tool from a computer, tablet or mobile phone. We have tried to make it compatible with most devices.
You don’t need to download anything. It is available open.
You also don’t need to pay anything. It is completely free.
I like photography, I love meeting and helping people with whom I share this passion. You cannot imagine the work and the cost (financial and effort) involved in designing a tool like this. I just want it to work, to help people, to fulfill its purpose and to allow anyone to discover, in seconds, their ideal camera.
