If you are one of those curious people who enjoy looking at the sky, learning about the stars and admiring outer space, you will love these cookies, since in addition to being delicious and homemade, they will look like those billions of stars, gas and dust that so much amazement they continue to generate you.
Plus, they’re perfect to make for a toddler’s birthday, and pair with a galaxy mirror cake, playdough, or nebula bottling project alongside it. All of these are perfect gifts for the most curious children.
Go ahead and make them and surprise everyone with the magic of the Universe at your table!
For the cookies:
- 90 gr flour 0000
- 60 grams of butter
- 45 grams of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
To decorate:
- 60 gr of powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons of milk
- Vegetable dyes: black, blue, violet, pink, white
Preparation
1. Mix the flour with the sugar.
2. Beat the butter until it forms a cream and see adding the flour mixture, little by little.
3. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.
4. Shape the cookies, place them in a buttered and floured baking dish, and cook for 20 minutes at 180°.
5. Meanwhile, put the milk in a bowl and gradually add the sugar to form a thick mass. Divide it into as many jars as dyes you have.
6. With a brush, manga or toothpick, decorate the cookies as you like. You can be guided by images of galaxies or by these photographs.
