How to make your own blackhead strips

With this mask you can achieve the same effect as the facial bands you find in stores, but in a homemade and economical way. You will see that the ingredients are very easy to get.

You can try this to complement your daily skin care routine. Remember that cleaning is essential to keep your face free of pimples.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1 1/2 to 2 tablespoons milk (any kind)

Steps to follow:

1. Place a tablespoon of unflavored gelatin in a container. It is important that you respect this type of gelatin, since if you use one with dyes, you could have a problem.

2. Add one to two tablespoons of milk to the gelatin.

3. Mix until a homogeneous preparation is obtained. Both ingredients must be integrated. Try to do it fast, until you get a thick consistency. Add more milk if you think the amount of lumps is too much.

5. Take the preparation to the microwave for about 10 to 15 seconds. You will get a creamier paste.

6. Stir it up and start applying it immediately to your face. You need to act quickly as the mixture soon turns to jelly.

You can apply this mixture where you want it most, making sure it is in a thin layer. Avoid placing the preparation on the eyelids or very close to the eyes.

7. Once dry, begin to gently remove the sheet that has formed. Keep in mind that the skin may be red after applying this mask, especially on the cheeks.

The effectiveness of this recipe varies from person to person. It doesn’t prevent pimples or acne, but it can help reduce their appearance. It is always good to consult a doctor, since each skin reacts differently and this treatment may be irritating for your skin in particular.
