How to make homemade and recycled liquid soap

There are many everyday products that you can learn to make yourself easily and without spending a lot of money. One of them is liquid soap, something of such daily use that it is usually consumed very quickly and is very expensive in stores.

With this note you will learn how to do it at home, also recycling small pieces that you have left from other soaps, in order to make the most of them and not throw them in the trash.

You can also learn how to make herbal glycerin soaps, a homemade carrot and calendula soap, a homemade plant-based soap, used oil soap, or an aloe vera soap.

  • 1 liter of distilled water
  • 1 cup of grated toilet soap leftovers
  • 1 tablespoon of glycerin
  • Aromatic essential oil of choice

Process

1. In a stainless steel container, place the grated soap and pour in the water.

2. Heat in a water bath, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.

3. When it has melted, add the glycerin and a few drops of the essence that you like the most.

4. Let cool well and place it in a bottle, preferably one with a pouring spout so you can use it easily.
