This method is ecological, economical and will look great, since you can also use pieces of various colors to give a cheerful touch to your entire home.
In this note you will learn step by step how to make a hanging planter to take advantage of every corner of your home to grow your aromatic or indoor plants that decorate and, at the same time, purify the air in all your environments.
Necessary materials
– Old modal shirts
– Pots you want to hang
– Measuring tape
– One Screw Hook
– Scissors
General procedure
1. Cut your old t-shirt to an even rectangle. Lay it on a flat surface and smooth the fabric with your hands to remove any creases.
2. Cut the fabric lengthwise into 8 1.5-inch (about 4 cm) strips. Don’t worry if the edges aren’t perfect.
3. Stretch them. The modal fabric itself will curve with the edges inward, making each strip look like a little cable.

4. Take all the ropes at one end and tie them in a big knot. Pull hard to secure them.
5. Separate the strings into 4 groups of 2 and tie a knot in each set, about 2 inches (5 cm) away from the center knot.
Try not to squeeze too much to have space to place the pot later.
6. Separate these sets into new sets of 2 and tie them together about 1.5 inches (4 cm) apart. You will get the shape of a diamond.
7. Repeat a third time, keeping the 1.5-inch separation from the previous knots.
This is what it will look like when you’re done: a big knot at the bottom and three levels of small knots.
8. Place the pot between the strips and adjust by tightening the knots.
9. Join the eight strips together at the top, making sure that they hang straight.
10. To finish, hang your planter from a hook screw.
And ready! You will have your pot finished to hang where you like.
