How to make a sphere of succulents

Due to their colors and the rarity of their leaves, succulents have a whole group of fans. If you are one of them, this project is ideal for you. Follow these simple steps to create a beautiful decorative sphere that you can hang in your garden.

– 2 coconut fiber pots
– Land
– A piece of wood
– flexible wire
– Any sharp object, such as a screwdriver
– Succulents

Instructions

1. Choose two coconut fiber pots that are the same size. Keep in mind that the larger they are, the more difficult it will be to hang and move the finished project.

2. Fill each pot with soil. Make sure to use a mix that can drain well.

3. Place the piece of wood on top of one of the pots. Hold the pot firmly and turn it over to place it on top of the other. Thus, you will form your sphere. Once assembled, carefully remove the wood that was left between.

4. Using a flexible wire, join the halves together.

5. With a sharp element, such as a screwdriver, make small holes in the squares that are delimited by the wires of the basket that holds the pot. Inside these holes, plant the stems of the succulents. You can use a toothpick to hold them in place.

This is what your sphere will look like when the succulents start to grow.
