Go ahead and build it!
Materials
- Whole pallets in good condition (three for each body you want the chair to have)
- Some pallets to disassemble (for the armrests and drawers)
- Another pallet to assemble a table (optional)
Process
There are two ways to build pallet armchairs with storage space: one option is to make them in the shape of a trunk (like white and blue), and another is with drawers.
For the sofa-trunk
- Disassemble all the pallets. Sand and condition them (for example, if there are damaged parts, repair them). Save some integers for backup.
- Use the pieces of the pallets to build two trunks (be guided by the images).
- To hold the lid of your trunk, use some hinges.
- Place a few whole pallets as backings.
- You can also make a small table that matches the sofas.
Another option, which is easier to build, is the sofa with drawers.
Sofa with drawers
- Stack the pallets by 2, so that there is space in the middle of them towards the front, as in the photographs.
- Use another pallet as the back of each body of the sofa.
- With unarmed pallets, build the armrests and drawers. You can also recycle wooden crates that you already have.
Whichever model you prefer, it will be perfect with custom straight cushions.
Enjoy your well-deserved rest!
