How to make a compost bin with pallets

A composter or composter has two functions:

1) Enrich the soil (reducing the use of chemical products such as fertilizers).
2) Reduce household waste.

Whether for one of the reasons, for the other or for both, having it at home and throwing all organic waste into it “so that it is not garbage” should be a habit as common and assimilated as throwing waste into the basket and not on the floor.

If you don’t have one, you can learn how to build one here, and you’ll also recycle a pallet and you won’t have any costs.

Process

1. We start by making a side.

2. This is how it will look finished.

3. You need to build two sides, and then join them together. A lower opening is left to place a door:

4. Here we see it with the lower door and the upper cover, with a few coats of varnish:

The lower door is used to remove the already composted soil:

And ready!

This is the result of the composter.

All the garbage from the patio, leaves, old pots and waste from the house we have turned into what you see, good land to plant.
