The family we are born into always has a lot of influence on the way we will be later. In fact, there are those who maintain that such is the incidence that we can even be “doubles” of someone we did not even know, such as a great-grandfather, for example.
Being “transgenerational double” of someone in our family means that we have a great affinity with that person, even if we are not aware of it. We can inherit some of their behaviors, beliefs, conflicts, desires and even illnesses. That is, if we are someone’s “double”, we carry some of their information loaded on us, whether positive or not.
A “double” does not necessarily do the same thing as its ancestor, but can sometimes do the direct opposite. In those cases, that person could come to “repair” what he made suffer or could not solve his ancestor in life. For example, you can be a “double” of an alcoholic grandparent and you, however, have an annoyance that you cannot understand towards people who drink a lot.
How to know if we are “doubles” of someone in our family?
- If your name is the same.
- If you are too similar physically.
- By dates of birth:
Look at this table (it is in months and is read vertically):

For you to be double, the other person must have been born in the same month, 3 months, 6 months or 9 months, with less than 10 days difference. Why? Since at an unconscious level the date of conception, birth and death is exactly the same.
For example:
If you were born on October 12, in the column where your month is (10) you will also find January (1), April (4), and July (7).
Then you must look at your tree who was born in those months and in a range of 10 days or less (forward or backward); that is, in this case, from October 2 to 22. All the ancestors that you find in that range of days in each of the months of the column where October is will be your “doubles” and there will be something that you have inherited from them.
You can also be “double mirrored” in cases where your date of birth read backwards matches that of another in your tree. For example, if you were born on 9/11 you would be a double of a person who was born on 9/11.
Knowing where we come from is our best tool to understand how and why we act, feel or think in such or such a way. Therefore, it is always good to know and delve into our roots; always thinking that we have the opportunity to repair what was, move forward and choose what nourishes us and favors us in our evolution.
