Airlines are facing a completely new scenario. Day by day, countries close borders, cancel routes and travelers seek flexibility in the face of the scenario. How do I change my flight?
When your flight was canceled or modified, or when you want to change it, you have several options:
- Open Ticket. Choose a new date to fly on the same route, but paying the difference (if it exists and applies).

What is an Aeroméxico EMD or electronic voucher?
The electronic voucher or Electronic Miscellaneous Document (EMD) is a code that works as another payment method to purchase a flight with Aeroméxico (for the same passenger to whom it was issued). It is awarded for the amount of the flight that you have not taken with the airline (either due to its cancellation or modification on your part).
You can redeem it by making a ticket purchase through the telephone system, but they will charge you about 200 Mexican pesos (10 USD). Therefore, it is better for you to change it directly on their website for free, making a “normal” purchase and simply choosing the EMD as a payment method. If you have extra credit you can use it on a next purchase, as long as it is the same passenger.
