The platform cut off the broadcast of a live video that it began broadcasting in mid-2018. 549 days later, YouTube has automatically generated the resulting video from the streamingAnd although it cannot be seen, it adds up to 13,165 hours, 23 minutes and 44 seconds.
When trying to access the video, the platform’s usual error message warns that “not available”.

After 549 uninterrupted days of broadcasting, the creator of the video, the user ChilledCow,confirmed on social media that the live broadcast had gone down for the first time on February 22.
The account responsible for the live had been banned from the platform for, according to an email from YouTube, having violated the terms of service. Just ten hours later, it was the platform itself that allowed ChilledCow to recover his account.

The event has left a trail of comments and memes. The most repeated are those that focused on how much he had studied the character that appeared in the video.
Now, the previous live has become the YouTube video longest in its history. The platform returns this video in its search results, which is over a year and a half long and has 218 million views.
