Preparation
1. For the cake, beat the eggs. Add the sugar little by little without stopping beating. Continue beating for two more minutes and pass the flour through a sieve. Add a little vanilla essence and mix, integrating well; in a smooth way.
2. Grease and flour a cake pan. Pour the preparation and cook in the oven at 180° until when you pierce it, the toothpick comes out clean. Let it cool.
3. To prepare the galaxy topping, put the hot water in a container and add the gelatin until there are no lumps. Then add the cold milk, condensed milk and cream. Integrate well. Beat with a mixer for 5 minutes.
4. To assemble your cake, take the baked cake, cut it in half horizontally, and place the bottom part in a removable cake pan that is larger than your cake. Add half of the topping preparation and put it in the freezer for 4 minutes. Remove it, put the other part of the cake on top and pour the second half of the preparation. Put it in the freezer for 1 hour and a half.
5. For the decoration, mix the quarter cup of water with the gelatin and let it rest for 5 minutes.
6. In a pot add the sugar, water and condensed milk. When it starts to boil, add the gelatin. Mix until dissolved. Then, remove the pot from the heat and add the white chocolate. Mix until well integrated.
7. Divide this preparation into different containers according to the number of shades you have chosen to use. Put a little food coloring and glitter on each one. Stir well and once the preparation is at room temperature, remove the cake from the freezer and place it on a stand that will hold it up so that excess food coloring can drip off when you decorate it.
8. In another container, pour the different shades little by little until they combine with each other. Don’t mix them with a spoon!
9. Pour this preparation over the cake and take it to the freezer for 20 minutes.
And ready!
