The long-awaited meeting of Friends has a premiere date on HBO Max: it will be this Thursday, May 27. Although that date applies only in territories where the streaming system is already accessible and in those that made agreements with Warner to have the expected program.
The reunion of friends will be the best promotional argument for the arrival of HBO Max in Latin America, which will be at the end of June 2021.

Friends: The Reunion is a recorded program in which Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courteney Cox (Monica), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe), Matt LeBlanc (Joey), Matthew Perry (Chandler) and David Schwimmer (Ross), that is, the Actors who played the characters talk, supposedly without a script, about different aspects of the fiction that brought them fame.
So in the new chapter, the actors will not play their characters from the series, but will play themselves. It will be a nostalgic journey through ten years of Friends, which aired between 1994 and 2004.
Behind the scenes is director Ben Winston. Series creators Marta Kauffman and David Crane will serve as executive producers alongside Kevin Bright, also a producer on the original version.

To celebrate the premiere of the documentary that coincides with the first anniversary of HBO Max, the platform organized exclusive screenings for fans and special guests in both New York and Los Angeles for tomorrow.
And to honor the theme of the sitcomonce the special is available on HBO Max, the service will also offer the possibility of sharing it with friends virtually, a kind of viewing party that will also have a presence on Twitter with the hashtag #CentralPerkWatchParties.
According to a Variety note, the arrival of Friends: The Reunion will have a specific distribution channel for each country.
Thus, in Canada, the program will be seen on the Crave platform while in the United Kingdom the exclusive rights were obtained by the Sky channel and the streaming service Now. In Asia it can be seen through HBO Go while in Australia it will be available on the Binge platform.
There will be special guests, including impressive artists such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, James Corden, the band BTS, David Beckham, Cindy Crawford or Kit Harington. Also Reese Witherspoon, who played Rachel’s sister, and Tom Selleck, who gave life to Richard, one of Monica’s great loves.
