Do you want to know if a mobile photo is used to decorate your house? Today I show you yes. I had a photo that I liked and that gave me a nice joy in a moment of photographic slump. On the other hand, I had a hole in my new bucket in my office that I had to fill. I thought it would be a good place to put it, although I had a doubt, it is a photo I took with my mobile and thanks to the mobile (with the camera I would not have been able to achieve it, although that is another topic). The fact is that I had my doubts about whether or not it would look good, so I decided that the best thing was to try it and I asked CEWE to give me a forex for the occasion.
And it is that I am at that moment in which I see how my photos drown in a sea of images inside my phone, sometimes I have to delete hastily because I have no memory left (and we don’t even talk about the images on the camera ). One of the exercises I set out to do this year was to print one of my favorite photos. So another goal accomplished. Now I only have to take a self-portrait, a photographic getaway and try a different discipline 😉
Well, to the mess, the photo in question is this. Seen here in large and up close, it’s not that it has a remarkable sharpness, that’s why I wanted to try:
Order
I’m going to walk through the order so you can see that with your Quick Workshop it is the simplest.
First I chose the product in its upper menu: Charts- Forex.
Once inside I chose the quick workshop, as you will see, you have two other options, Mobile Workshop, in case you order from your mobile; o Complete workshop, for this you have to download the program. But, what has been said, I worked with the first one and it went very well.

Once inside the Quick Workshop I selected the image. You have two options, either by clicking on the central window or on the left where it says “Upload photos” in the “My photos” section. I indicate both cases with the arrows.
In either of the two options, the same window appears to upload the photo (or the photos if you want to order more than one). Click on the red box (+ Select photos) and the window will open for you to choose the photo you want within your documents or image folders.
Keep in mind that if you upload a very large file or several photos it may take a little while, you will see a green bar that is loaded during the process.
Once loaded, click on the button Clever that appears at the bottom right and you will have the image (or images) uploaded to «My pictures«.
Careful with…
It is important to check that the image resolution it is appropriate to the size of the print, Cewe makes it very easy for you, once you have the selected photograph it indicates with a green face if the resolution is good; yellow if it is enough or red if it is bad. The ideal is green, with yellow let’s say you get out of trouble; if it appears red, better choose another photo or change to a smaller size or it will not look good.
Another aspect to take into account is the Automatic optimization. If you click on the image you have chosen, an editor for your photograph opens. You can rotate, crop, apply effects or turn automatic optimization on or off. My advice is that you edit your photo in Lightroom or any other editor because you will have more control of the image, and that you deactivate the “Automatic optimization” option (it is activated by default). This ensures that your photograph arrives exactly as you sent it.
Now, if you don’t usually edit your photos or don’t have another editor, it’s a tool that you can use, although I recommend you try it first with a normal size photo development to see if you like automatic editing before requesting a canvas, a forex or any other item of greater value.
In addition to this edition, the program gives you the option to add text, clip arts, paint, etc. I wanted the image only, so I didn’t use any of these possibilities, but depending on what you are looking for or need, you have the resource. For example, if you wanted to add text, you can choose where, size, color, etc.

You can also make a collage with several photos, to do this, in the right area you have the option Templates. Good for a photo and put a frame, thinner, thicker, etc.; or to upload more than one image and form a collage. You have lots of options. These are just a few examples, but there are many more.
In the right area, you also have the option to choose the format (while viewing the prices), customize the size, choose another product and select whether or not you want a wall hanger or what type.

In the lower right corner you can see how much the product will cost you, if you make any changes in size or whatever, it will be updated.
When you are clear about all the details of size, format and others, you just have to press “Add to Cart”a preview will appear for you to confirm that everything is to your liking and, when you click on “Add basket”you see the order with the price, shipping costs and the possibility of entering if you have any promotional code.
The next step is log in, if you are already registered; either registerif it is your first time, filling in this information and that’s it:
All you have to do is enter the payment details and confirm the order. A screen will appear with the order number and, as I tell you now, they send you an email.
Delivery
At all times I was informed of the process, at the time of purchase I received an email with confirmation of all the data, the order number and information on the preparation time according to the chosen product.
Once the order was ready and left their premises, I received another email advising that it was on its way.
The package arrived within the period that I had been told, inside a cardboard envelope, wrapped in plastic and with some protectors on the corners. I show it to you in photos so you can see it better.
Of course it was well protected against possible shocks or water, so it arrived in perfect condition.
Result
The result has been very positive, I was surprised by how well it turned out and how good it is when placed on the shelf.
Like the experience with Cewe, both in the ease of ordering, the speed of delivery and the final result. A detail that I liked that the corners were rounded. I have another forex at home with sharp corners. I find this rounded one more comfortable, safe and pleasant. It’s that the other got a small bump in a corner when placing it and it flattened 🙁 That’s why this detail seemed important to me.

Aspects to improve
When I opened the package I noticed that the colors are a bit more saturated than the original photo. In this case it hasn’t bothered me, I even liked it because I think it gives the image more depth. Well, in the foreground the colors are warmer that they approach and in the background they are colder, that they move away.
The point is that I made the mistake of leaving the Automatic optimization option activated, which I advised you to deactivate above, as you will see, I told you from my own experience 😉 . So that it does not happen to you, remember to deactivate this option.
Anyway, from here I send CEWE the proposal so that the automatic optimization does not come out by default activated, because if your photo is already edited beforehand and you are not going to add anything, the normal thing is that you do not open the editor and do not you realize this detail.
Conclusions
