Daily gratitude routine to be in harmony with the Universe

Gratitude is extremely important to be in harmony with ourselves, with others, and with the Universe. It’s such a noble feeling… that he even has a whole week in his honor!

You may feel that you are a grateful person, but are you sure? How many times a day do you stop to give thanks for everything you have?

You can feel gratitude towards everything that has touched you in life, but feeling it is not enough. It is also necessary to get used to expressing it. Think about when you do something nice for another person. Even if you have had that attitude in a selfless way, it sure feels good when they thank you.

Also, to be in harmony with the Universe, you need to appreciate what it gives you every day. You may think you deserve it, and maybe you do: but you should still express your gratitude.

The more grateful you are, the more good things will come into your life. It is a fact.

Therefore, you can put this daily routine into practice. It is a useful exercise to “learn” to be grateful. It is that like everything, learning to value what has been given to us also needs training.

You will see that the longer you do it, the more grateful and happy you feel.

Learn to be grateful in 6 easy steps

1. The notebook

Choose a special notebook to be your partner in the gratitude routine. It doesn’t matter what kind of notebook it is, but make sure it’s new. Gratitude requires its own space.

Also make sure it is a notebook with enough pages. Even if you don’t believe it at first… You’ll need a lot of space!

2. Start typing

When you have your notebook, take a long time to sit down and write down everything for which you are grateful to the Universe, everything it has given you.

Since this will be your first time doing this, it will take time, so make sure you do this step when you are calm and unhurried. It is one of the most important steps.

Concentrate and write down all the good things in your life. Try not to forget anything. Even the smallest things count!

3. Reflect

When you feel that there is nothing more to be thankful for, take a moment to reflect on all that you have written.

You will see that you have written much more than you thought you were capable of. Read everything you are thankful for and focus on how you feel.

You will notice that your energy has changed. You will feel better, with more fluidity. The Universe will also notice.

4. Repeat

Even if you think you have appreciated all the good things you have, do not forget that the notebook should be new and have many pages. Is that you will continue to use it every day!

Now that you have written the most important thing you have to be thankful for, it will only take you a few minutes a day, but you must be constant.

Each day, choose a time to keep writing down things that bring you gratitude. It may be something that happened to you that day (a learning experience, a friend passing you by, a beautiful moment lived…) or it may be things that you have forgotten before.

It’s that the more gratitude you express, the more you feel you have to be thankful for. It’s checked.

5. Evaluate

After a month of writing your gratitude notebook, take a quiet moment to assess how your perspective has changed since you started.

Read everything you have written and try to measure your evolution in this time. How many good things have happened to you! And that you hardly even realized before.

You can write down how you feel right now, analyzing all the good things that have happened to you in the month.

6. Value and change

Now that you can see graphically everything you have, it’s time to value it. The key to this routine is understanding that you can focus on your desires without feeling like they are missing.

You may want to conquer the world, but you will not achieve it if you do not know how to value the portion of the world that you have already conquered.

Change your point of view and start to focus on being grateful for what you have, instead of being envious of what you lack. If you succeed, you will have won the most important battle.

But never forget to keep completing the “thank you journal”. No matter how much time passes, how much you have changed and learned. Each of our days have something to be thankful for.
