As has happened with numerous artists, as is the clear case of Vincent van Gogh, J.Sebastian Bach lived under the darkness of anonymity and poverty, reaching his post-mortem glory being one of the figures of the Baroque best known in music.

Although both cases are not the same, since Bach he was in charge of taking sacred music to a culminating degree thanks to his genius, his contemporaries did not always appreciate the talent of this wonderful composer.
when dying, Bach he left his family without strong means to survive, and his second wife was able to survive only a decade, dying in complete destitution. On a few occasions, she found herself forced to seek help from local councils, which would seem to have been uncharitable, since her efforts were clearly in vain.
