A girl from São Paulo created an easy and fast system to feed stray dogs, and now she hopes that her idea will spread throughout Brazil and the rest of the world, so that no dog lacks food.
The young woman is a Brazilian merchant and quickly became known on social networks by installing a homemade feeder so that street dogs could feed themselves in the trees in front of her restaurant. The woman uploaded the design to social networks and the idea spread quickly. The particularity is that it is so easy to make and ingenious that practically anyone can make one for the puppies in their neighborhood.
Love for the animals
Wancleia Soares, who has a restaurant in Río Preto (São Paulo), said that she decided to design the feeder because it caused her a lot of pain to see the animals suffering from hunger in the street and that nobody cared for them.
In addition to the feeder, the woman placed a bucket in which the dogs can drink water. “I am very happy that it worked because here in Rio Preto it is full of animals on the street,” the woman told the TEM news.
An easy system to install
Made with plastic tubes, the woman designed and installed several feeders in the area of her business and also decided to publish it on the internet: the photos and videos were shared very quickly and the invention was reproduced in various parts of Brazil.
