A 4-year-old Scottish girl has touched the hearts of netizens around the world with her simple yet exciting and moving story.
On the occasion of the celebration of Mother’s Day in her country, Ella Lennon wanted to send a letter to her deceased mother. He took a few moments to write it and sent it through the traditional mail service, but with an unusual detail: he addressed it to Heaven.
The header of the letter read:
For my mommy in Heaven. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you, Ella.
In the same message you could see a drawing of a minion from the movie Despicable Me, and you could read the phrase: “You are one in a MINION, mom.” Thus, the girl made a play on words to tell her mother that she was one in a million, because in English “minion” sounds similar to “million”.
For the family, this remained a tender gesture from a girl who wants to see her mother again, but according to Ella’s aunt, the girl received an answer. It seems that some employee wanted to surprise her and give her a memory of her that she will never forget about her.
The answer said:
My beautiful Ella. Thank you very much for the special letter you sent me for Mother’s Day. You are one in a minion to me and I love you very much. Millions, billions and trillions is how I love you.
You are growing up to be a very smart and special girl and I am so proud of you and I am even in heaven watching you every day.
