A reflection is a reality that is disfigured, exalted, copied, shaken, transparent, trapped, searched for, found, visible, indefinite… I could go on writing adjectives to the reflected images to the point of boredom, but that is not what I intend. What I want today is to fill you with inspiration. That you can’t wait to go out and look for reflections on the street or even at home. That you do what you like the most, photograph. And why reflections? Because yes, because they are beautiful, because they are a challenge, because they create symmetries, because they are everywhere and because you have to try everything 😉

Today I show you 35 examples of reflection photography to wake you up not the bug, but the worm for dusting off your camera. Do you stay to enjoy them?

Architecture

Because architecture can be not only a motif to be reflected, but also a surface on which to capture the beauty of reflections.

The darkness of the night is witness and accomplice of impressive and beautiful reflections. Are you going to miss them?

Oh, the water, how much it attracts us! Water is life, energy, joy… and a wonderful mirror to reflect any reason you can think of!

If you were thinking that reflections are not for black and white, you will have verified with two of the previous examples the great results that grayscale can offer, right?

Abstract

Has it ever occurred to you to use reflections to achieve an abstract image? The results can be really interesting, do you dare to experiment?

Portraits in the mirror, portraits reflected, stolen or drawn on glass. A good portrait is impressive, a good reflected portrait can be doubly impressive 😉
