15 Ideas to recycle with cans

There are many objects of daily use, such as corks, bottles or cans, that once they are used, they are almost automatically thrown in the garbage and end up in landfills taking a long time to decompose.

But once you’ve uncorked the bottle, drunk the bottle, or consumed the ingredients in the can, all of those items still have plenty of uses!

Soda cans or preserves, for example, have as many uses as you can imagine. With them you can make decoration accessories, lamps, and even a kitchen for camping, a WI-FI amplifier or a solar heater.

In this note you can be inspired by 15 incredible ideas to recycle with cans, to avoid reducing the amount of aluminum that is thrown into the ground, and create practical, beautiful and environmentally friendly objects.

1. Grater

If you just moved in and don’t have a grater to prepare your favorite salad, or add cheese to your pasta, you can improvise one with a can of preserves, slightly sunken inwards and with holes at regular intervals. Make sure it is very clean and that you file the holes well so that none of the aluminum gets into your food.

2. Desk organizer

If you take some tin cans, clean them well and wrap them with a pretty patterned paper, you can create a practical and original desk organizer, where you can put your pencils and other supplies. You just have to stack the cans together and join them with the help of a glue gun.
