The secondary sentences They are those that depend on the nucleus of another sentence, which is why they make up a compound sentence. Within a compound sentence, the secondary sentence depends on the main one and is subordinate to it. For example: The pants what did you give me It’s too big for me.
Also called subordinate sentences, these sentences fulfill a syntactic function within the main one.
There are three types of secondary sentences, depending on the syntactic role they play, as we will see below.
Adjective secondary clauses
They fulfill the function of an adjective. The links that introduce them are: who, whom, which, which, whose. They can fulfill different functions in the sentence:

Substantive subclauses
Their function is the equivalent of that of a noun and they can fulfill different roles in the sentence:
