Today I would like to offer you inspiration with these photographers specialized in children’s photography. I always say that child photography is a true risk sport 😉 and that it is not easy at all, although with this mega guide with all the tips and tricks to photograph children it will be much easier.
Children have limited patience, they are fidgety and unpredictable 90% of the time (as it should be ;)), which makes these photos even more incredible.

1. Meg Loeks
Meg is a photographer mother of 3 boys and a girl and lives in a remote part of the USA surrounded by nature. She is one of the best children’s photographers I know, her photographs are full of magic, she has a really incredible mastery of light and technique.
In addition, he knows, like few others, how to capture stories in his photographs. They are really fascinating, I recommend that you go through their website or that you follow her on Instagram so as not to lose track 🙂
She is an ambassador for Sigma, Canon, has conducted many workshops and conferences on photography.

2. Alan Laboile
This French photographer is the father of 6 children and he portrays them with impressive strength and spontaneity. His images are childhood in its purest form, freedom, crudeness, and sincerity. Most of them are in black and white and documentary style, always with creative, fresh, dynamic compositions and an impressive narrative capacity.

3. Elena Shumilova
With more than 355k on Instagram, this Russian photographer has captivated children and adults with her photographs full of nature, sweetness and childhood. The locations of her photographs are spectacular, as well as the interaction that she generates between the children and the animals, always very present in her images.

4.Jake Olson
Jake Olson is another of the children’s photographers that I would like to recommend to you. He is from Nebraska (USA) and has appeared in magazines like Vogue UK, Digital SLR MagazineDigital Photo MagazineNational Geographic, etc.
His photographs are always related to nature, dramatic skies, with warm tones and images with saturated colors.

5. Niki Boon
This New Zealand mother of 4 photographer is a black and white artist. The images of her are raw and reflect the freedom of her children and the environment in which they live.
His compositions are spectacular, fresh, and perfectly capture the movement and the strength of childhood. Personally it reminds me of Sally Mann’s «Family» project although with her own style.

Andrea Martin is a photographer specializing in family portraits. She lives and works in West Virginia (USA) and her photographs are characterized by an extremely high mastery of light, compositions full of nature and warmth.

7.Anne Geddes
This well-known Australian photographer living in New York hardly needs an introduction 😉 . She is specialized in baby photography and newborn photography. She has been on the market for many years, I’m sure she sounds familiar to you :). She has sold over 18 million books and 13 million calendars and won countless awards throughout her extensive career.

8. Adrian Sommeling
If you want to see spectacular photomontages, you will surely love this photographer. His originality, imagination and fantasy when putting together childhood stories through his peculiar gaze is the most fun you’ll find :).

9. Raquel Chicheri
We have already spoken to you on some occasion about this photographer. Her photography is specialized in portraiture and fashion, much of it for children’s brands.
Her “catalinasworld” series about her daughter is well worth it, but in general all her work with children is spectacular.

10. Ivan Carbonell
The last of my recommendations in this series of children’s photographers is Iván Carbonell. The studio photographs of him in black and white, especially of family, pregnancy and children, can be a good source of inspiration for your images. His photographs are very natural and fresh, as you can see for yourself on his Instagram or on your website.
